Time for a little bit of news

I have prepared a video of the BT24 @ the wonderful Monaco Rocks (GPL) conversion to GTL by dredop available at the F1 Classic website. I highly recommend you go and grab this gem of a track called Monaco 67. Maybe in preparation for this mod conversion and also the F1LR mod by BorekS perhaps ?

I don't have a YouTube account either so all I can do is provide a link to the video file once it has been uploaded to my MediaFire account. The video is ~175Mb so bear that in mind, if you want to download it

note : the BT24 was mostly Borek's conversion work...I did a little but it is the car he started me off on

Even though it's been a bit quiet here at the moment, we are working diligently on the F1 1967Mod.
Just as the F1 LRMod of Borek.
It just takes some time.

Well deep-strike has finished the physics now - thank you so much Carsten !

The F1LR mod is nearing completion too, Borek is doing the last textures for the cars, I believe and I've almost completed the F1LRconfig tool and deep-strike has finished the physics. Then there is some final testing to do and we are there.

After that it is back to the 67 Mod conversion I promise, so hang in there folks....it's coming.

Yes, the physics is finally ready.
It was to do more than expected.
Now we are on the finishing straight.
Although there are still a few things to do, but the goal is in sight.

Hi all,
Just a quick update to let it be known that the mod is still progressing.
It was put on hold for a few months as myself and Carsten were helping Borek with the F1LR mod, now that is completed, it is back to the conversion.

I would say we are about half way finished now, going through each car set with a fine tooth comb, fixing what we can to the best of our ability.

GeeDee is now helping out with the first person driver - hands to wheels, painting of driver_arms etc.
He is helping with default car setups too ! - thanks Gordon.

Borek is also helping me with technical advice and editing the odd mesh file. - thanks Borek.

So I won't give any time frame except to say that the release is inching ever closer.
I will also be converting the mod to GTR2.

The team is working hard on the mod and we do our best to achieve a good result.  
Good things take a little more time.
