Getting on trackaholics forum

Hii, I am new here! Thank you for letting me on this forum, I see some really good stuff being posted here.

I've been playing GTR2 since around 2016, and though I stopped playing it for a few years (got more into Assetto Corsa lately) I really wanted to get back into it!

I have a question though. Years ago I was on another forum called "Trackaholics". I remember some very cool mods being posted there. However, my account seemed to have been deactivated due to inactivity, and the moderators on the forum seem to not allow any new members there.

Is there a possible way to get back on that forum? Or some kind of way to contact the admins from there? I hope that it's possible.

also really keep up the good modding work, really love it! Will definitely try out some of the stuff here!

Hi I am one of the admin team on trackaholics membership has been closed as a temporary measure to clear out the old dead wood so to speak.
It may be back open soon new rules are implemented you must use the forum if you join it, this is to encourage member participation and develpopment of new mods not just to sign in once every 2 years and use it just as a download platform.

I'm also a newcomer here, I've only been here a short time, so thank you for letting me join this forum too.

I've also always loved GTR2, I got to know this game in 2020 and I still play it a lot nowadays. As well as getting to know this and other good GTR2 forums, I had also gotten to know the Trackaholics forum, I saw that there are several posts there that I had never seen before and I was very interested in being able to register there to stay up to date with new posts.

But I've seen that the administrators have blocked new users from registering. Is there any way to get into the forum or talk to an administrator there now? I'm really interested in joining there too!

Yeah, I must be honest though: on terms of modding I don't know if I have much to offer. I do have some basic skinning knowledge, so I might be able to make a few liveries here and there for some cars! And I'm always open to discuss IRL racing stuff

I'm in a similar position, in that I have absolutely zero ability for skinning or creating, but in the past 6-7 decades Iv'e built up an almost insatable appitite for Historic cars and their workings, and I simply love the ICE and it's engineering.
And I participate where I can, though I had left trackholics on the back burner because I tend to forget the present... getting old!

As far as I know, you don't have to contribute content to stay on Trackaholics, just participate in the forum. Not everyone on the site makes content.

Saying thank you when you download something is always a good thing.

Frank is correct in what he says too many people were joining and just downloading everything not saying a thank you too any one, a thank you goes a long way.
