| Hi. I downloaded speedster63's nice Abarth X1/9 Prototipo mod found here: http://speedster63.blogspot.de/2013/05/abarth-x19-prototipo.html Mod works fine, but there is little problem with hood/bonnet view, shown here: You can see edges of the car, but there are some textures missing. Tried to change graphic options, but it doen't help. I usually drive at this view, so can somebody help? | |

| If you open GTL/UserData/defviews.cam with Notepad or WordPad you can edit the car camera views in the file. It's a matter of trial and error by using this -Right/+Left, -Down/+Up, -FORWARD/+BACK
Best to save a copy of the original first just in case you make a pigs ear of it.

| If you edit the defviews file it will change the view of every car that you have in your install. If you edit this line in the car file CameraTarget=(0.000, 0.725, 0.100) it will make changes to that car only. Same changes as GeeDee mentioned. First value larger will move the cam to the left, second value larger will move the cam up, third value larger will move the cam back. | |

| Hi. Thanks for the note. I have looked at that. Since I converted the car into primarily for GTR2 The change to GT Legends but is somewhat more complex as it is described in the forums. In GTR2 the Hood can be lost in an accident. In GT Legends is also possible. But GTL requires additional entries in the CAS file. Missing this. the hood is not displayed in the cockpit view. I have revised the CAS file. For me it works now.
Have the revised CAS file at MediaFire set. http://www.mediafire.com/?hw2frj6us7nm5jn Also in my blog, the Abarth is revised.
Download - unzip - Put the "Abarth_X19.CAS" in GTL/GameData/Teams/TC-76_Abarth Fiat X1-9 Prototipo and can override. | |
