@fatguts with the freeware paint.net you can colorize the dds files

Not this time... I just modified the original (green) DKW_1000S_BODY1.DDS but it's not perfect.

Maybe Diego prepared a complete template with options for parts (clamps, bumpers...)

I try to make the sounds the best I can, thanks to Matteo for send me some recordings, the insides sounds are mine, the exterior sounds are from Trabant Ostalgie Mod

Thank you very much for this DKW. We have not much 2 stroke cars for GTR 2. Your car is the best 2 stroker.

A very nice mod, but the sound doesn't match.
It's very good on the inside, but far too quiet on the outside.
Better use the sound of the Melkus RS1000 from the mod by speedster63. This is the same sound that DKW/Wartburg have in real life.

Nice skins, but the sound is wrong.

A DKW has never sounded like this, the sound is more reminiscent of the Trabant (2-cylinder two-stroke) than the DKW/Wartburg (3-cylinder two-stroke).

Hi, how are you? I answer you with the greatest of respect, obviously we have different opinions, but we live in a free world, you can use the sounds that you like, in my case in particular I like how they turned out in the cockpit, not like that on the outside, but no I have the ability to be able to make an external sound, I tried the sound of the Melkus but I don't like it very much, especially in deceleration, I hope you understand my inability to improve it, but it is the best I can do.

All you need to do, is get the AUD file from your Melkus RS1000 mod, (assuming that you have it), and rename it with the DKW AUD file name.

I did that a long time ago.

I didn't want to convey anything negative either, just the opinion that the sound currently used doesn't sound like a DKW, but rather like a Trabant.

The Melkus sound is certainly far from perfect, I just think it's more suitable because it at least sounds more like a 3-cylinder two-stroke than the one shown.

In my opinion, the Trabant sound from the "Ostalgie-Mod" was used here. I think the Melkus sound corresponds exactly to the sound of the Wartburg from this mod.
