Hi

I continue with the cars that were popular in my country in the 60s, this time with the car that put many families behind the wheel, the DKW Autounion 1000S

It is a model made from scratch, the truth is that it was quite complicated for me since it has very particular curves

There is still a long way to go to finish it but at the body level it would be almost finished.

In a certain moment in Brazil, about the early 60s, that amazing car was used in many tourism car races with a lot of success, throught Equipe VEMAG. It was made in Brazil at that time, and the guys made miracles in a so short engine with only 3 cylindesr and 1.0 liter, using a unique 2 stroke engine and with almost at 110HP) The top pilots was Bird Clemente and Marinho Camargo. White colour and using number #10

A great surprise my dear, thank you. The DKW´s are one of my dreams for GTR 2. This car looks very nice. My greatest respect for you. I hope on another day in the future i could download and drive 2 stroke Auto Union´s.

Audacity (freeware) is your friend here. You can capture sound playing in your sound board in real time, also stretch, cut, etc, and a more lot resources...

I could try to detach audio from video with my movie editing app, should I save in wav? I don't know, never made sounds for GTL/GTR2

Well, this week I had some progress with the DKW

At the 3D level it is almost finished, physics and Sound are missing, the Sound is a whole issue.

The sound is good, the engine a little bit weak and the gear ratio a little disadvantageous. The car is very good to drive! thumbup

I drive this car in GT Legends, TC65.

Hello dbstreet at first, thank you for this nice car. The engine sound is good and works very well. After a little tuning with Toms enigine shop, the engine has more power. I drive the car in my own created GTR 2 Mod for cars of the 60-70. We need more car skins. Can you tell us more about the gen string? Sorry for my bad school english.
