Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ -63 - looking for modder!

Yeah, I too look forward to a GTL/GTR2 conversion! Would be a welcome addition to my 1967 WSC season as there were actually quite a few entries that year despite the car had gotten pretty old by the time.

I' am happy that the TZI is not forgotten
It have a body with some difference with the TZII who is in Absolute LM part 1
The TZI run in 1964 at Le Mans with 3 cars from scuderia St Ambroseus and one car in 1965 from Grand Duché de Luxembourg.
In 1965 the three others was TZII from AUDOTELTA SPA

Who made it? It's a straightforward conversion... or improved?! I see the windows with decals on them too, are they mapped? I don't remember finding a windows/glass texture file to make me believe the windows are mapped, so paintable.

The conversion is mine. It's not exactly straightforward, but ongoing.

Regarding the windows, I tricked them to be able to use the stickers and roundels/numbers. The solution is a little bit too heavy for my taste and I want it gone, but I can't remap yet. That's the one issue to figure out. The others are unimportant, just a question of work. The liveries, for instance, there are more of them to paint than I anticipated, which is not an issue at all, it's just more fun for me.

So we have two people working independently on the same car ?

I assumed it is a joint effort.

Ok, my work so far....


ORIGINAL TYRES



UPDATED RIM (3D + TEXTURE): added air valve, replaced that little hub from the center of the rim, got rid of the hub for the rear rim, remapped certain bits of the rim etc




ADDED BRAKES FOR THE FRONT (NO BRAKES FOR THE REAR - THEY WERE IN-BOARD), GTL DEFAULT TYRE

This is what I have so far:

My car has everything working:

- Interior with mirrors and all the dials calibrated.

- Fuel, overheating and independent leds for the rpm3 and rpm4 lights.

- DIAL HUD and DIALHUDMIN based on the car dials.

- Also, a new LCDTIMER.

- Cockpit and exterior driver well placed and hands on wheel and on the gear lever while shifting too, feet on the pedals and smoke from the exhaust pipe well placed and oriented.

- Lights for all the spotlight combinations.

- Talent files for every driver and more.

And then, there's the skins:
