| If I recall Woody used/uses incorrect shaders, specular maps & cube maps on the car body .gmt's as did Mitch88 with his Fiesta 09 mod. This makes whites look very grey & all other colours appear washed out.. I could fix it but it would take a while as I have workmen in renovating my appartment at present and I am trying to avoid dust & bits in my equipment | |

| It would be a shame for this historic little car to go down the great GTL toilet its the only mod for it, as is woody's Vauxhall Magnum and Firenza for GTL a good Mod that it is too. So it would be nice to have it a bit more sorted if you could enhance it a bit it would be really great. | |

| Thanks you Fat guts and Woody, You are right the Herald with a swing axil rear suspension does handle exceptionally well, I have owned one for years, very close to home I have a dead mans curve which I love going thru flat out in my various vehicles, the Herald I can take the curve at about 50 kmph, easily, on my hotted scooter 40 kmph, and in my vw- tsi, thats 1200 cc turbo at 40 kmph; on the later two my scanty hair is on ends; where as in the Herald its a breeze.... Love the Kastner colours on the Vitesse ( mine has a bonnet like this) check out this https://youtu.be/n39gDXnLF4o , The vitesse is eating the porsche 911s for lunch.....!
In India where I live, the Herald was the car for all the swinging types and was club raced a lot in the 60s, I suppose thats where the 'infection" came from, I still love mine but its going to have to go, I cant get help or folks to work on cars like that anymore and I cant get under the car anymore ,not that it needs much attention..

Love the youtube clip It certainly belts along ok I lived in Bombay for a while in the late 70s (in my teens), my dad commuted by Herald and we would play a game ,to count how many heralds we could spot on a drive/commute and spot mercedes likewise, There were usually 10 mercs to one herald, so I guess they are rare or perhaps they only come out at night !!
