Hi dear fellows! Good news about BLT. Papag, after many, many months is back to the cockpit of BLT.
He has the helm again. Now, let's wait to see which will be next steps.

Yes, the TH community is doing a real great job on those mods. Let's wait and see.

Hopefully all the work that has recently been done will help speed up the backlog of work, and who knows, maybe Kostas will find some new blood to add to his team.

Now that a member of the BLT team has continued one-handed and brought out vehicles that have already been completed, the project is back on track.

The reason will be that Kostas (papaq) suddenly reappeared. This may mean that the whole project will come to an end and all unreleased vehicles on the hard disks of the respective team members will go down in smoke.

Kostas hadn't contacted me before for a long time, swelled to bring something out, so why should he let it flare up again?

I think we can and must be satisfied with what has now been released.

The sad reality is that we currently have here, on this site and on Trackaholics, some guys, with zero gratitude, thanks for all that Kostas and his BLT team have done for us and us so far, and they're just talking nonsense and showing a huge amount. ingratitude.
These are not the true members of our beloved community.
They should shut up, or leave, instead of writing a bunch of bogogues and bullshit here.

Well said! We, the Altbierbude, hope that there will be as many new mods as possible for our GTL. Without the mods from BYL the light would be out for a long time.

What a load of bullshit. The "ungrateful" people are only pointing out that Kostas' behaviour has been all but respectful towards the community.
Long before NoGrip shutdown, he started interacting less and less, becoming a mere showoff profile, only uploading photos of "upcoming" cars (the files for the Porsche 935s haven't been updated since 2011) and ignoring almost all messages sent towards him, be them questions or appreciations whenever he would finally decide to release something new.
Then he disappears and takes BLT down with him, not a single message, not a single reason being given out. Sure, private life is called that for a reason, but it has been almost 3 years at the very least since I've last seen him publically post a message. Never thought about him having passed away, but perhaps retired from the public eye which was fair enough.

Years go by, another BLT member decides that enough is enough and comes forward about releasing the wip mods himself, the "ungrateful" community comes together trying to help however they can, most cars were being fixed, other models were original NoGrip reuploads and no work was required on those. And suddenly, now Kostas decides to comes back? Where? Where is he? Why now? Why did he disappeared for around 3 years and reappeared out of nowhere, less than 2 weeks after one of his team members started releasing their old mods. Said guy implied he was going through health problems and that could be the reason why he has been posting less and less himself, but the release of newer models stopped the exact moment you came here announcing that "Kostas is back". There are too many coincidences in this story for it not to sound hard to believe.

People are not being ungrateful. People are tired of someone making a fool out of them, thinking he's above everyone else and that he doesn't owe anybody an explanation, let alone an apology.
I've always respected him as a modder, but the more years he goes by staying silent without at least telling people why, the less I respect him as a person.
Because if he's back, how do you even know he's back? How can he find the time to send you a message to say he's back but can't find the time to send the same message to the community instead. A community that back in the NoGrip days, had became almost a cult dedicated to BLT. A community that has been patiently waiting for his "return" for years now, and what do they get for it? Yet another slap in the face.

Yeah, keep telling yourself that the community is "ungrateful", if that makes you sleep better at night.

And by today and so on, I'll never put again any information about Brickyiard Legends Team (BLT), where I used to be a member all those years, and I am yet, with proud and gratefully to all  other members!

IMPORTANT: And an important detail: Rallymaster (or jghinkle) ,who has brought us the various Mods here to finish them, and is one of the members of the BLT, if he's silent, you can be sure that he has huge reasons for that. Do not prejudge without knowing the real reasons for his silence.
And the same to Kostas' silent all this time. In my country we have an expression that says, "Each one  knows where their own shoe is tight!"

hello .I allow me to ask a little question about the BLT team. why not enlarge their team with men of trackaholics den and this site. BLT's workload this will be divided by 2/3 and all the The world will soon be very useful. As far as I am concerned, I think that jhunkle had a very good intention, and that kastos has his reason. I have waited like everyone else. A lot of year to see our hope soaring today.

otherwise we will move on to something else. we will not get sick and thank you to the BLT team for all mods and hours spent volunteering for us community

I just hope BLT, jghinkle and kostas, through all the turmoil, know how grateful the community has been for all their work. It's really an awe-inspiring simracing treasure they have created, only matched by VLM's Group C stuff. Eternally grateful.

The speculation and spiteful nastieness that is going around here disgusts me... The guys who have all these bad things to say didn't say it to Kostas or anyone else before... stop your trolling now as that is all it is and doesn't do anyone any good at all.

Have you stopped to think for one moment that their could be a very good explanation for what is happenening???

When people suddenly dissapear from a site it is usually for an extremely good reason, such as they are very ill or have big family problems all of which make modding the very last of their worries.

Just look at this year, we have lost 2 great guys who died before they were able to finish the mod work they started.

Let us give things a chance to settle down and thank these guys for the precious work they already achieved and hopefully still will achieve and all for free for you and me.

To those who doubt... can you, have you or could you achieve 1% of what they have done???

Everyone admires all the work that they have done including me.
But what upsets and frustrates people and causes all the problems is the lack of communication.

I have to agree with Zexar there is too much of this walking away with no explanation whatever the reason it takes five minutes to just type a message to let people know what is going on, its common courtesy how ever dire the situation maybe.
