GraphicalOffset help needed

Hi all could someone explain how to adjust the car height with this line in the hdc

GraphicalOffset=(0.0, 0.035, 0.0) // does not affect physics!


I think the center set of figures makes the whole car go up and down evenly.

Which are front and back what's + and - ?

first off, that's a load of crap about does not affect physics. It sure does! The +- are up/down and yes, the centre values are to move the body up or down. The left value and the right value are best not messed with as they seem to have a profound effect on the physics. I think one tilts front/rear and the other tilts left/right. It's very rare you would want to ever alter them from 0.0

From the HDC file prelude (one of the original GTR2 HDCs):

+x = left
+y = up
+z = rear

Important notice : GTR2 use not the usual order of axles. Not X,Y,Z, but X,Z,Y. That's why exactly 2nd value in your GraphicalOffset=(0.0, 0.035, 0.0) make influence on the height of the body of the car.

Hi Dimid what does the first and last set of figures do:

GraphicalOffset=(0.0, 0.035, 0.0)
                                                                 

first set (0.0,         ,     )

Middle set (     ,0.035,     )  Raises and lowers car equally  + -

last Set (      ,       , 0.0)

If I remember, they will make the car act completely crazy if you go too far with them....try it!

Yeah, I tried it once and as soon as i left the pits the car started barrel rolling all over the place

Yeah, it gets nuts, messed with it one time years ago, and if you get it close, they go around the track,....but,.......its fuckin' hilarious!........
