GTL Track problem

First, I am using the 2008 updated GTL for Win 7. I have been having issues with several tracks. The updated Charade track. It was running but now won't load and crashes to desk top. I have reloaded it and the same happens. I then loaded it to a fresh install with no other tracks and the same happens. I then re-downloaded the track and reinstalled. Same results - ctd. This has also happened now with Linas-Montherly (a favorite).

Anyone have any ideas how to fix or what is wrong here?

What does the trace file say?

delete the older .HAT file

It may be the cars are higher graphics than your game is set for as this will give you the impression that the track is crashing.

Try turning your graphics up. Leave your shadows at medium though.

joeschmoe, how and where is the trace file?

GeeDee, All is on max. Have tried changing settings, nothing seems to work.

in my GTL shortcut (right click /properties)
I wrote in boxes:

Target M:\GTL\GTL.exe -trace=1000

when game attempts to load it writes a trace file to:

M:\GTL\UserData\LOG\trace.txt

obviously M is my drive name.

open trace.txt and read comments
