Safetycar question...

...Hi all,how (in which file) can i change the Safetycar position in GTR2 and/or GTL Tracks?

GTL tracks don't have a safety car position.

I think you can change the position in the GTR2 tracks AIW file and I'm only guessing that it's something to do with lines that start with this and the positions are underneath in brackets:

GridIndex=103 There may be one or 2 of these lines. Sometimes this line is not included.

TeamIndex=51 Sometimes this line is not included.

Gee,i`ve been playing around with .trk files from GTL Tracks and the Tracks now works in GTR2...but the Safetycar is now transverse to the startingline...!??

Open the AIW file in Notepad.
look for this:
 
[AUX]
LocationIndex = 0
Pos = (20.6332,20,0.0305)
Ori = (0,4.7123,0)
LocationIndex = 1
Pos = (113.37,20.0009,17.5064)
Ori = (0,6.2711,0)

the [pits] fill in positions such as:

TeamIndex=51
PitPos=(113.37,20.0009,17.5064)
PitOri=(0,6.2711,0)

The TeamIndex=51 PitPos and PitOri positions must be consistent the LocationIndex = 1 Pos and Ori numerical values...
