5.0 mustang no go

man i dont know why im almost the only one on the web tring to get a 5.0 on a game i have been to countless mod sights and no go. The 87 to 93 5.0 mustang and its turbo 4 brother have been the choice car to buy to hotrod for the past 30 or more years there has not been a car to date that has more aftermarket parts made for it. The cars came from the factory with forged internals that ment in stock form it could except as much as 15lbs of boost and a 150 shot of juice. I bought mine for 1200 bucks it had a bad conv top and seats that i replaced other than that was nice i put 373 gears in the rear 155 fuel pump in it 70mm throtle body 24pound injectors ram air and a built 5 speed and the car runs high 12s in the 1/4 mile. The 5.0 was also a great road racer it won many trans am races in the 80s and 90s , it just rubs me the wrong way when i can get any stupid four banger i want for a game but no 5.0

I recognise your frustration mate, but the reason no-one else is interested in making it for GTL is that the game is for 60s & 70s GT & TC cars, your Mustang doesn't fit that decription.

Evo converted a REALLY UGLY 90s Mustang in his DTM 94 mod which is on here somewhere. Isn't that the car you want? I gave him some help with a few of the files. It's a nice mod but I don't use it myself for the same reason.

bcfcdave has given you some solid reasons for why no one here appears interested in this car and I agree it is a bit ugly compared to other Mustangs.

Maybe you could try GTR2 sites as they may be more interested in this more modern car.

Sorry if you have been rubbed the wrong way but we can't always get what we want, even for a few dollars.

Here is the DTM94 Mustang. As mentioned, it's not the prettiest, but this mod is actually a lot of fun........ Also, this car is way too "young/new", for GTL, that's why your not getting much feedback on it. You would have better luck searching GTR2 forums, or just quickie this one to GTL........

the dtm94 mod I have, doesn't have that mustang in it....

the Touring Car Legends mod for rFactor has the same era mustang in it.

where can I find this version of the mod?

this is the rFactor conversion to GTL by Trackaholics

I was just wondering if he ever got it, I'm going to toss out the quickie convert of it, never use it..........

never found it but there is a mod in the works for rfactor but any links to a fox body would be great
