Yeah, I've noticed the incorrect modeled front section but also several other issues so I'll see how much work I'll put into the car. I'm not really a car modeling guy so it's a lot of trial and error to fix things. Anyway, I will at least be doing the stuff necessary to have it as a placeholder as the car was an important part of the 1967 season, being raced by such prominent drivers as Graham Hill, Jacky Ickx, and Paul Hawkins.
Looks pretty convincing from this angle though...

Thanks, that would be great! The nose also looks a bit long. And would you also be able to fix the faces with the wrong lighting? I've started working on that by trial and error changing the XYZ normals but find it really difficult to get it right. It's a pretty big isssue as you can see:
Good news is that the original 3D cockpit looks pretty good and accurate although it needs to be modified to RHD for the BSCC cars:
As for the wheels, I used a texture that was the closest I could find to match the period correct ones. And I chose on purpose to use a simple wheel mesh to match the rest of the cars' low poly appearance. However, if you can improve the overall look of the car, it would be great with a higher poly wheel mesh and more correct textures.

Would you like me to send you what I have so far or do you prefer starting from scratch?

It'd be better to pm me what you have, I'm just starting a Hillman Avenger mod (very early stages) so I don't want to get sidetracked too far!

Could you probably give any update on these cars or how the plans are progressing concerning the fusion of the LMC and ABLM Mods? And by the way, is there a template for the Porsche 907? There was a car running in Le Mans 1970 I would like to paint...

This has been mentioned before, and some work was even done, but it seems to have been abandoned. Improvements to the 1950 F1 car set would get a lot of interest, and I think, some individuals willing to lend a hand in a join effort, at least that's what I'd like to see happen. Thanks, Jim

hi, this car was ported april 2019 into rFactor 2... so like all my other wips like Costin-Nathan, A210, M64, MS630 etc. as there was available the full Le Mans 1967 (G4 1967 mod) vehicle physics made by woochoo. since may 2019 there is no progress, I am not in a modding stage now, taking brake.

Thanks a lot for this information! By now it is some kind of good news that the project is not dead, just paused. Take your time, I still hope for a release one day!

The car is still high on my priority list but I have literally hundreds of projects going on in my game at the moment. Zee did a great job with making the front more true to the original and I have put together some really fun to drive (and hopefully realistic) physics for the car as well as fixing the wrongly lit faces. Still a lot to do though.

I did some more work to the car after my last post but it has since falling down my priority list. I've modified the front and rear shape a bit more, moved the green stripe down to a more correct position, made the doors less wide, and remapped the tail lights. If Zee (or someone else) like to continue working on the car, I'll be happy to send what I've got so far.
