Two cars are ready, the third is still w.i.p. We need a new mapping on the ferrari because of 3d is slightly modified. I hope we can finish soon.

...and all because once again I was not satisfied and grumbling about the underground, when I've started to paint at this car. How glad I am, that Don is a very patient and contemporary guy, who always is willing to lend another hand on those problems again and fix them - even when he thought he was finished and wanted to start over with the next car. Please keep in mind, that this all was the work of someone else, where it always is difficult to repair around at an already finished part. But we all hope, you will like the results finally.

The prob is - if you once have one car lifted up pretty far, you want all the others at the same level as well. They all have to be "the precious", we can sit on afterwards.

I'm drooling... Some of it's because I'm old though

Did you do the paint for the 1959 LeMAns winner?
If so, I have a driver helmet and suit of Carroll Shelby to go with it.
Gotta dig those crazy bib top overals he wore.

Afaik the winner-car at 59 was a very highly modified streaming-line-version with covered wheels and a longer top and end, which is not included at our mod in this appearance. But I would very much appreciate you to do such a version of the helmet and suit for the car with the assigned number for sure.

I won´t touch the Aston once more although, cause I´m working on other projects already, so this (the suit and helmet-design) should be a work for you as third-party attachement.

I´m just waiting for the final mapping of the testa to finish the skins of it - beta-testing of physics and sound was already done at the Bude - so it should not last too long for coming out.

(I remember very well, that I did such an announcement also at the Mazda, and it took over one more year after that till it came out finally - but everything else should be fine now)

Maybe a conversion of the Mercedes 300 SLR (W196) from the r-factor Historix Mod 2.0 could be a good addition to these cars ...

Those two Jag and Testa of the F1-thread are in work actually as well by a different modding group - but no idea, if they are grown farer meanwhile. (Are they? Talk to me at our internal forum!) They use different 3d and physics and could be an interesting addition.

The genuine maker of the cars in our portfolio had asked the guys of the Historix-mod for integrating them at this mod, a year ago or so, but they were not interested at the stage, the mod had at this time - DonPanoz asked them, if we could use the SLR at the actual mod, but again they were not interested. What can I say... Only solution would be, to make it once again from scratch and even better. Hasi had started to work on one a long time ago but quitted when the Historix-car came out. Maybe there is an option to one of these two sceneries and to bring it out with the seccond stage together with the 375Plus, that´s in the backhand as well.
