Having just received my tickets for this year's revival meeting and recently downloaded the GP1937 mod from Trackaholics I thought it'd be fun to create some Goodwood grids from the stuff on my hard-drive.
Here's a couple of brief videos of the Kinrara Trophy and Goodwood Trophy races, while I'm still working on the Fordwater Trophy (pre-66 GT cars up to 2.5L), Westlake Cup (Pre-66 cars up to 1.3L) and TT Celebration (large capacity pre-66 GT cars).
Goodwood Trophy
Kinrara Trophy
I'd like to bundle some of this stuff up in some mods I can share but need to get permissions from original content owners and also I'm still ironing out a load of stuff I'm not quite happy with.

Right... This is something I've done in (as always) in a kind of b*stardised way, as I love the Goodwood circuit and the whole Revival and Members Meeting scene... but for reasons similar to your own I simply cannot share other peoples hard work without their OK's. So, Yeah, I'm looking forward to your efforts in this matter.
One of the things I've found is that there wasn't enough Cobra coupes (Hardtops not Daytonas) to put on the grid, and, as the pre 66 GT class is full of them in real life I have made an attempt to do some myself, making the (887) 427 Shepherd car a 289 was simple...
The main problem was when I fitted the 'Mayer' 289 with Shepherd's hardtop, that went on OK but the Glass now has strange headlights and stuff on it!
if anyone has any ideas on how I can fix that, it's another car that can be shared here.

Hi Pete There's is a different xxxx_Windows.dds file for the roadster and hardtop versions, which is probably the odd behaviour you're seeing.
I have done a few Cobra Hardtop skins for the RAC TT, which I will release if I can find time to finish that grid. On that point I did email all of the original content owners for permission to build on their work but didn't get any response. I don't know if that is because GTR2 is seen as obsolete now and therefore it would be OK to share. Perhaps one of the moderators could advise?

What you have done so far is exciting to say the least, I have no talent or understanding of skinning... I have tried, believe me! but, I guess I must just accept that and do stuff I can do... as for the DDS's, yeah, well that's more witchcraft!

Honestly my skinning ability is pretty basic but good enough for the cars to be recognizable.
I have uploaded a [WIP] version of these 3 cars so that you can add them into your own set-up.
This mod is a WIP as part of a wider Goodwood Revival project, created to run in GTR2. It is recommended that this mod is loaded on top of a clean install of the existing Power&Glory mod as it has been created to extend that mod and uses much of the fine work of that development team.
This mod contains 3 new Cobra Hardtop skins: #1 (HEM-1), #2 (CSX0249) and #47 (CSX2212), which are all regulars at Goodwood.
HDC, ENG, GRB and TYR files have all been modified based upon FIA homologation #115 and my own physics-based models.
As I said these are a WIP, I am continually learning through modding a coming back to make futher 'tweaks'.
Please do not share without my permission.
