Hi guys, so the other day while racing around the 67' layout of the AVUS I asked myself if there's and older (longer) vesrion avaliable Is there such thing and if not would someone be interested in making the track? The track I mean is the 1937 layout, which was 16+ km long and was the first year the 43°-banked "Nordkurve" was used.

Brooklands should be avaliable over at Trackaholics' GPL 1937 Topic

I have got that one, I was even mentioning driving on it my first post. I was specifically asking for the 37' version, which is twice as long as the 67' version.

I don't think that one was ever done for GTL or GTR2, maybe for GPL?

BUT we have a game which has it! Sadly, it's Spirit of Speed 1937 from 1999. (I've got the PC version lying aroud, it just doesn't wat to run) other good additions from that game would be Roosevelt Raceway, which I've never seen in ay other game after/before and 1937 Monza.
NOTE: A lot will have to be done to these tracks, if they're even usable at all!

Ok, I've found a GPL beta mod, I just need someone to convert it please

I did find a beta! No track objects, early W.I.P...
Could someone do it please? The basis I could convert but all the objects would need to be added... that I can't do sadly
Here's the link: http://srmz.net/index.php?showtopic=1064
AND, I found Roosevelt Raceway for GPL as well, another classic track almost everybody seems to forget: Link: http://www.javinester.co.uk/gpl/roosevelt.html

The GPL track is converted to NR 2003, I`m sory I have have no link for it at the moment and it is definitely the short version just as the GPL one from your link! I compared it with some maps I found on the net and there is no doubt: Short Version!

I opend some files in 3dsimedit and you are right, it is the long version with the "normal" north corner (not the ground loop from 1937) and without any objects etc. I`m sorry but I don`t know how to build an AIW for it or convert one from GPL. It seems to be a very boaring track (two corners, two long straights) so I will not work on it, sorry! You may have a look here (If it works??) At the map you see the short version of 1937 and colored the track from your GPL-link.

The same problem I think converting from GPL is not so easy, I tried that a few times with no success. The objects are not such a big problem, but AIW etc. are "top secret" for me!

There is a great tutorial for it, tried it and it worked first time, early W.I.P, needs a lot of work but it's converted and running. (Talking about Tripoli 1937 here)
Here it is: http://www.sim-garage.co.uk/files/GPL%20to%20GTL%20track%20conversion%20tutorial%2023Nov06.pdf

Well thank you , I can't get the installer to work though so I would need all the GPL files for the track (roosevelt racway I'm talking about), else I will hop on it myself then... I won't have so much time as I have to study for some quite important exams for when school starts again.
EDIT: I do NOT need the files, the .dat file just had a naming issue with the file being dat not roo37.dat
Will start work immediately

Sadly not! I took a massive hiatus on GT Legends, changed my PC in the meantime and all the files I had for that track had been lost to time, I'm afraid Sorry about that but not much I can do anymore...

There is a 12 mile/19 km long version of Avus for GPL. I'll check it out.
I have also started a conversion of Roosevelt from GPL, but I'm only working on it occasionally.
