George Follmer

I don't know if anybody on here lives in the San Francisco Bay area, but George Follmer will be at the Blackhawk Museum in Danville, CA on February 13 at 10:30 a.m. He will be promoting his book and signing autographs. The museum is incredible on it's own, but Follmer makes it a bonus if you like the original Trans Am series.

Haven't been there, I think this is the first I've heard of it..........going to look it up..........

It's a nice place. Every month they have a cars and coffee event with 400 to 500 cars.

You guys in california really have it good when it comes to car related events, and your car-museums etc; have a good time, unfortunately us on the otherside of the world can only oggle on you tube and the like, do keep us posted of any videos of these events.

Yeah, but along with all the events, we are saddled with strictest rules regarding what we can own and drive, what modifications we can make, and the highest gas/insurance/repair costs in the country,  though our gas prices are much lower than those in Europe.  But for example, I got a quote to paint a car near where I live for $8000. But taking it over the hill to Nevada would drop the price to $3500 because of the easier environmental laws.
