And here I am at the first morning stage of the 1967 KAK Swedish Rally in a two-stroke SAAB 96 Sport. Great fun revving the crap out of the little 59 hp engine and using left foot braking technique for cornering as well as for keeping the revs up. Also note how my right hand is changing gears with the steering column gear shift! (Both the track and car are WIP and being based on conversions from Rally Trophy).

Been to a lot of Monterey Historics, but the racing at Goodwood is so much harder. They really wheel those old classics like they were meant to be driven..... thumbup

Funny thing, only yesterday I was watching James Cottingham (the Cobra Driver) take 2nd place at the Spa event of the British GT championship in a GT3 Mercedes, excellent driver and one to watch at the Goodwood Revival 16-18 september.
