Boring friday nights...

Was just going to post this 'rant', but got sidetracked by a 400mb+ P&G v3.1 update and Ned's newest Lancia Fulvia!!!

What I was going to carry on about was how it seems every Friday, there just isn't anyone posting anything. Don't know whether it's the work week ending and everyone's tired, or everyone's taking their significant other\others out to a movie or dinner (or whatever), or that's the night a lot of simmers go racing on-line.

Can't begin to tell ya how many Friday's (days and\or nights) I've sat in front of my computer screen, staring at nothing. Probably because I'm single (divorced) and have nothing better to do...but it's frustrating to not be able to attempt to rectify peoples sim problems, download a new car file\mod\track\other things sim-wise.

Don't get me wrong...that's not all I do. I'm an 'armchair' model railroader, I read voraciously (3 to 4 books weekly), have over 1,700 DVD movies, collect '50's, '60's and '70's rock and roll music (well over 800 CD's), but most of all, I love to 'play' with my computer.

My 'rant', such as it was, is now over. You can go back to enjoying whatever it is floats your boats.

   My dear MOF! In a few hours I'll be again flying over your head in a jetplane over Florida coming from Rio!
I'm going again to New York, and i'll be there until next 13th october.

I noticed the lack of members on all sites I visit on a Friday night and it's fairly quiet until Monday again, must be a family thing.

Hey MOF! Did you say you're collecting rock & roll music? I've been collecting rockabilly music for years.

I bought my first rock 'n' roll 45 RPM record in 1959 for $0.45 USD...Eddie Cochran's 'Summertime Blues'.

All my 1,000 or so 45's are now gone, replaced with CD's. Used to have 800 or so 33 1/3 RPM record albums, too, but only have around 100 left, their being replaced with, again, CD's. The last CD I purchased (just a couple months ago) was Ben E. King's greatest hits.
