| Really think Spintert92 is done with modding, or is too sick to offer any more advancements. Splintert92 took the Lotus Europa rickoshea had and offered to finish it, but we've not heard from him since then. He also showed us a Corvair he'd done, as noted by jd121449, looking near completion, but that, too, never appeared in finished form. I don't believe any of us should count on any more from him. Sad to say... | |

| Unfortunately, I fear that MOF is right. Last year I added to splinter92 contact to give him information for the Corvair. The result then was that I should help him with parts of physics. He told me that he still has a few projects he wanted to get ready, as the Datsun 510, and if I was interested to work on the physics of these mods. Then I created the engine and transmission files for the Corvair and Corvair Widebody. He was then sent to me by e-mail a download link for the Corvair, but ended on the Mediafire page. Next I started to create the hdc files. But the contact broke off. As splinter92 appeared here after a long break at evo again, I thought that it would go with the Corvair on. But it did not happen, no email, nothing. To be honest I'm a little disappointed. Why has he not told us that he may intend to quit modding? If he has Decided that this is a pity, but it would be ok. But just do not respond is not really fair.
Very very bad, he's really good at modding.
Besides, if someone is interested in the engine and transmission files from the Corvair, let me know. I currently have no use for.

Agreed...the bone stock ones at least but, the aftermarket ones like JD is doing here are quite the opposite I'm wondering what physics to apply? I would imagine something like a Porsche because of the rear engine maybe? Excited for this one JD Thanks!

| Awesome to see this one getting picked back up. One of my personal favorites of the era.
If you need help with physics I'm willing to throw my hat into the ring. I can find some time to squeeze it into a full plate I already have for physics for upcoming Brickyard Legends WIP's (Ferrari 365 GTB4, Lotus Esprit, DRM Escorts and IMSA & DRM BMW 320 Turbos), if it helps bring this one to fruition.

| " /> " /> " /> " /> " /> I played around with the Body1.dds file and came up with a very basic pattern that you could use as a guide to make a different skin. I am not good with painting so I think that some of you guys could improve this quite a bit, even without a template. I had a couple of offers about help with physics for the car, so when I finish my stuff with it, I will send the files along to those guys and maybe we can have a former SCCA National Championship car to mess around with. There will be some options available by manipulating the Genstring. // 67002 - Yenko Stinger, Simulation //----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- //1=Wheel Style //2=Front Bumper Style //3=Rear Bumper Style //4=Rear Spoiler Style //5=Chassis Style //6=Headlight Cover Style //7=Wiper Style //8=Exhaust Style //9=Mirror Style //10=Rear Oilcooler Style //================================================= PS: By the way, for any perves out there. The D/P stands for D production. | |
