And so cool that you couls have a two-fer-one as the 196S is very close to the 250TR (non-pontoon fendered). With some minor tweaks, you could have two amazing Ferraris!

I was doin some lookin and if someone were to do a 750 Monza, its almost identical to a 500 Mondial, swap in a 3 liter V12 and change the hood and you have a 250 Monza, with a little stretching, a 6 cyl engine and some minor tweaks, it could be a 121LM. A 500TR with a few changes becomes a 500 TRC and bump up the CCs and you have a 625TR. With three basic Ferrari cars, we could have 9 sweet Red gems in our garages. Cool!

Unfortunately, at this moment, I don't believe someone is able to do something about these Ferraris. Anyway, we have for now, some very nice Ferraris, or Maseratis from the 50's, at least!!

I basically did all that in the GTR2 mod I'm building---all accurate physics and a number of new Maseratis too.

Well--the problem is permissions---I definitely don't want any recognition for the modeling as they've come from everywhere---probably 80period cars of different configurations but all the physics have been redone--except a couple I thought were very close to what I would have done.
as example of new cars---Ferrari 335s--625LM---412S---860Monza---290MM Lotus 11--Lotus 15 Maserativ150s--200s---350S
as well as a few historical variations of standard models.
It's a whole kettle of trouble and mud-slinging to release it as all the cars came from Here--There and Everywhere. As proud and happy with what I've created it may only be done by very selective PMs when it's ready.
AND IT'S NOT READY so don't bug me yet----lol
If someone has an input or suggestion about this I would like to hear it. I love this sim-racing community and really don't want to offend anyone.

Releasing them on a private site is not usually a problem Bill as long as you make people aware of the issues and mention all involved with the mod if you can.

WHIPCRACKER: I would love to see your hard work as well, when you feel it is appropriate. I appreciate all that modders contribute to an old man's memories.

Heya Bill, I'm glad I'm not the only one to alter engine and drive chains in old cars, I recently finished 'Bastardising' the MKII Jags from 3.4 235hp - 3.8 Coombs (unfortunately no vented bonnet) 290hp, making each car slightly different (HDC), I realise that they should not match the big V8 cars but I'm a bit patriotic when it comes to Goodwood Revival and we can't allow the Americans to have it all their own way. I have no modelling or skinning skills so there are no changes there, it's all just words and numbers and... Obviously these are purely for my own entertainment.
I, like many others would love to see the end result if you can eventually show it.
