W.I.P. Datsun 510

I'm kinda in limbo with this one, it's close but stll needs a few things. Really need a physics guys help with a few mods

Dare I ask if this is moving any closer, your work looks so sharp, I know I speak for a large group of Datsun 510 owners who would love this, hope all is well and this didn't die.

Not dead, I may have gotten the help needed to move along but I don't know the time frame.

Mr.Macedo, you don't know about what you are talking about! Better have been preserved your mouth shut!
HPI-rcr is not the "owner " of this Mod! He only try to help doing some nice skins, hoping that would be uploaded in the possible time. He is not guilty of anything! Remember this words he said some times ago, just here in this thread:

Remember that Jeff (HPI-rcr) is a great guy, with hundreds of skins done and uploaded, for free, to all of us just to enjoy!

Actually, HPI-rcr is not to blame. The 510 is something I was doing for him as a favor and it was intended to be publicly released. I have not been doing much modding lately and I feel no need to explain to you why I havent. If you feel like it's not being done fast enough, than I shall wait for you to do it.

So I´m not that kind of guy who is allways moanig the others head.
If he is known also as mario...well my friend i know him well cause he helped me with some work i did some months ago.

OMG!

I lost my files for this mod years ago, i never thought i'd see it again! This is amazing! I had my work hard drive die, and it took all of my pre-rFactor files with it (which was somewhat depressing). I'd put years into the HTCC mod, the mini was the first car converted from f1 2k2 to f1c (and it three-wheeled properly!), i loved those cars to bits!

Hopefully the links are still good (can't download atm). I can't wait to get home and crack into the files. Hopefully they're some of the later versions, when the abarth was three wheeling out of turns and the minis in.

Anyway, if anyone is curious, here's a wee background: I, along with Petrol (did the So76 mod, if i recall) and a couple of others (dancoverdale, st220, dbalban) some of whom went off to work on GTL, took on the task of creating a great HTCC mod based off of the work of Niel Bainbridge after he passed away (his brother andrew backed us 100%). It was a labour of love, and took a hell of a long time to upgrade the models, but when my modellers were poached by simbin it pretty much killed the mod.

It always irked me that the cortina and mini were pretty much exactly the same in GTL, although the handling in that game was a shambles by comparison.

Here's the Alfa Guilia taking on the esses at Imola in F1 2001 (or 02... can't quite remember). Back then the only way to get a solid FPS when capturing was to record to VHS, then capture back to the PC, hence the "low-fi" recording (although it's certainly time-appropriate):
