| Hi All ! Does anyone know how to get the sounds more "centered" for a given car ? I know it is realistic to have more engine sound on the right channel when you are in a left hand drive car, but some car sounds are too extreme in their left/right orientation. Some sound like it is ALL left or ALL right..... I tried "adjusting" the line EngineSound=(-0.200, 0.80, -1.000), but it doesn't seem to make any difference. Am I trying to change the wrong setting..? | |

| In GTL? I know the Falcon is rather bad for this. I use ducfreak's soundpak for the Mustang and drop the aud file that goes into the car folder into my personal Falcon as the Falcon uses the same sound as the Mustang. | |

| Thanks Den, That is what I usually do when the sounds for a car aren't "right". Most of my installed cars are using a different sound package then what they came with. It's just that so many cars are a little to biased to the left or right. I understand that sound is going to be biased when you don't sit in the center of a car, but my sound system isn't very good, and when a sound is biased towards the left, as in a right-hand drive cars, there is almost NO sound coming out of the left channel, I was just trying to find where that is adjusted. Thanks for the reply.. | |

| Yeah, I notice it reverses when you use the 'look back'. heh. I also tend to if using sounds open it separately and only install it in 'my' car. Heehee. Lately though I no longer remember what sounds I've installed and not......... | |

| To be honest, every LOUD car I have ever sat in, the engine noise is all around. The actual seat position means nothing in a car that is stripped of sound deadening and interior upholstery etc. ie race cars. And in the average street car, the sound position is almost indistinguishable (lol I expected red squiggle under that word - but FIGJAM - I spelled it right) . | |

| Look in the "eng. file" and look for the line "engine sound=(0.300, 1.200, -1.5),iv not 100% figured it out but if you change the 0.300 to say 0.000 it will change where the sound is coming from, keep tinkering untill you get it right,if not start to change the second lot, usually i can get the sound almost centered | |
