GTR2 tacho needle not showing up

Hi all,

I borrowed the tacho form another GTR2 mod to put in my car (Zastava 1100 converted from rF DDR mod, private use). The tacho shows up in the cockpit, but the needle is missing. I checked the material name, the needle_01.tga file is in it's place, I copied the exact lines form the donor to my .car file, and, finally, I checked all the file names. Still no success.
Must mention I run the car files loose (no .gtr mas files, all files unpacked in one folder, incl. necessary stex & talent ones).

I've been searching all around to find the solution, but couldn't find out how to sort this out.

Any advice on this will be very much appreciated.

I guess the answer lies in the question...

You must have a cockpit gtr file corresponding to the cas file (ie Zastava_1100.cas => Zastava_1100_CPIT.gtr) or the needle won't show up. I'd first try that.

dont wanna open new topic just for this,its a similar problem...converted some cars from gtr2 for personal use,on mercedes amg black,instead of dash instruments,have just holes,and can see track trough them...help...:9
