are new members still being accepted here?

I ask this as a fellow at NobGrip mentioned trying numerous times and never getting beyond a return message stating he had to wait for approval. Is EVO still accepting new members?

It seems, at least for me, that there are lots of sites somehow "fucked-up", especially those which are made for racing sims. gtldk and this italian site, too. I registered there months ago but still I cannot use this italian site. Just wrote a PN to pelle from gtldk... that italian site seems to be dead at all... I registered there so long ago, in the meantime I forgot it's name

Browser-based www. is now 20 years old. What will be in 20 years ? 50 % website-corpses if it progresses like this...

BTW: wrote a mail to Evo, but didn't receive an answer yet and - frankly spoken - I do not really expect any answer as Evo's last activity here was back in August 2014

So, we should expect sometimes in the future to see this site shut down (if nobody takes care of it anymore) ?! That would be bad, I really like it!

Me too! Really nice community.

But the reason counld simply be that evo's email address is no longer valid. I for myself am thinking too about deleting my gmx mail account due to masses of spams and other stuff.

GTLDK, wow, I think that was the first site I ever registered at..........

Also, I may be mistaken, but didn't Evo say he was "retiring" from simming to concentrate totally on university?.......

You're right concerning Evo - unfortunately. He produced some good stuff!

well this doesn't sound too good unfortunately and it would surely suck to lose this forum!

Yusss... it's a very nice little corner of the Sim world!!!

I wonder if any existing sites would like to make room for us by giving us a special section... maybe a good idea if someone wants more members and a site that virtually runs itself except for being able to accept new members!!

Hope this site stays around for a long time yet. Spent many a happy hour browsing trying to learn the rudiments of GTL file management for my little project. So much information on here it would be a real shame to lose it.

it's more of a suspicious eye If it gets to an evil eye, it turns around and uses a single winking eye
