| Hello, I'm new here.
Anyway, can anyone tell me where I could find it. Not just the Porsche 956 and the Lancia, but some of the cars like the Nissan R90CK, Jaguar XJR-12, etc.

| Register to the f1classic.your-talk.com forum. You will find a (low-poly) version of the mod that you are searching. Too bad nobody did better models of this championship. | |

| Once this communitty had a wizzard, the best modder of them all,a legend in his own time. But they ripped him, trashed him and drove him away to exile. So that Magic Wizard built his own home, and released the most stunning mods, including an amazing Group C mod,so i ve been told. But thos that entered his kingdom, are bounded by a pact of silence in sign of apreciation to this good friend.....so the legend goes!!!

| Yea. ) In more common words he has the best Group C conversion from VLM's mod of them all, and the most complete. The others are just badly done and unfinished stuff which are not to take in consideration (even though some cars do work). | |

| Surprised it hasn't been leaked though (as with all Merlin mods)... There's so many ways of sharing content on the internet... Also he has converted CSGT (as far as I know) without permission, and even accused (without any grounds) our dear friend Hubert of stealing a 917K engine fan at NoGrip. I suppose the Group C mod is illegal as well, as VLM is VERY strict with permissions. When they release something, it's under their own name, so, if they made the Group C mod (for rFactor I suppose?), they wouldn't just give it to Merlin to release at his little hidden playground. Back on topic, the Group C mods for GTR2 that I know of are usually based on low poly efforts for the F1C game way back in time, which is why they aren't up to snuff. | |

| The original VLM Gr. C mod was not for Rf (I know there is a Gr. C mod that is pretty much a conversion of the original mod), which was btw made for some F1 game (98-99 F1 game). Anyway the models are outstanding considering they are old... and still look better than the models provided by C-Era mod (with that lancia that never looked like that). It's sad that those monsters, and I myself am talking especially about the GTP IMSA protos, haven't been made still for GTR2. | |

These and the CSGT are missed in the game (though we have Evo's GTL versions which we can privately convert). sunalp2 has official permission to convert the whole of CSGT to GTR2 but since he has a very busy RL and tons of other stuff to work on I doubt he'll make much progress anytime soon... What matters is not the age of the model but the quality! BTW I tried to register at Merlin's, completed the process, but didn't even receive an email... I'm ok with it if you want to refuse me, but at least tell me you don't want me in!

I have the same problem but have been told that the Admin who deals with this is very buzy with his home life and many projects etc. They say his mods are very good so worth waiting for.

| I registered at GTR2Heaven, (Merlin's) site over 4 months ago...still no response.
I don't think that site is accepting any new members whatsoever. Four months ago - 98 members. Today - 93 members. It looks like the site has capped off it's membership limit to 100 members possibly.

| I think they look for people who don't have accounts on any other modding community because they probably think that such ppl might share their "uber-secret" mods. Which aren't after all ) | |

They say his mods are very good so worth waiting for. Actually it goes this way: Merlin's site (or so I heard, in a thread at the old site that can be found on Google) deletes members which are not active. You can register... And wait for the email. The thing is, if you can't activate your account, you will never get active. And your account will be deleted. This is an easy way to handpick those who are allowed into the site.
