I think its quite a proper Mod.

In my humble opinion this old Mod became too much cartoonish to the GTL standards!

In my humble opinion this old Mod became too much cartoonish to the GTL standards! Agree, and it's even not the right model as raced in the fifties/sixties plus only a bunch of fictional fanatasy liveries...

Greetings Muddie 1955-1957 Saab Sonett (or Saab Super Sport or Saab 94)! Porsche 550 Spyder rip-off in my opinion. Nice! Another good choice given that it's a rare car and chances too see this car in gaming any time soon are minimum... if non-existent. _________________ Ferrari ... F1's soul since 1950

Here is a Test Version of my 700RS
The Link http://www.mediafire.com/download/7ccju83m2yztbd8/BMW+700RS_WIP_v0.1_by_Muddie7272.rar
Download and Drive it. Say what you think. Im open for constructive Critics. Some Issues are clear : The Gearhand-Position isnt correct yet and the Hud-Speedo shows 210 Top Speed.
Hope you like it
Greetings Muddie Did some laps at Thompson 62 - nice to drive, but I'm a lousy driver, no idea from physics, setups and modding at all, but - as it is still a test version - some smaller things, which I would like to give to you as a kind of feedback: car has two exhausts, but only one in the .car-file: I changed the car file as follows (marked red): Exhausts= 2ExhaustAmount=0.40 Exhaust1=(0.275, -0.103, 1.53) ExhaustVel1=(0.274, -0.075, 1.865) ExhaustAmount=0.40 Exhaust2=(-0.275, -0.103, 1.53) ExhaustVel1=(-0.274, -0.075, 1.865)values still could be optmized ... There's a mistake in the .hdc-file [Suspension] - I made changes as follows: LeftCasterRange=(0, 0.1, 1) // front-left caster LeftCasterSetting=20 RightCasterRange=(0, 0.1, 1) // front-right caster RightCasterSetting= 20 Lights still don't work. LCD-timer shows above the windshield and I have no gauge (maybe a question of my graphics - 8 year old machine) - see pic below: Keep up the good work - it looks like you have a feeling for "exotic" cars. Highly appreciated. _________________ So long.

| Hey Jaenno!
Thank you very much. Calibrating the Exhaust Smoke Position is as nerving as everything which is handled with the .car-File. I will put the values in my File when i end this comment. (And also the correction for the .hdc-File)
Sorry! I vorget to disable the LCD-Timer. Everytime i drove the Car i thought. You must do that and that... and you must disable the LCD-Timer Display, but i vorgot it everytime.
Lights will come obviously.
I see you marked the Cockpit Tachometer. The Tacho is not the Problem. it is the Steering Wheel. beyond the construction From Car Body to Seat and Driver Position to Cockpit this Steeringwheel Position was the Result. It has to be larger and at a little bit higher Position so you can see the Tacho through the Steering Wheel. A great Problem.
I must confess, that im not very Firm in creating Physics too. I use a Program for the Inertia and some other Values. Put it in the Abarth 1000TC Physics Files (Same wheelbase, also Rear Wheel Drive and Engine above Rear Axis) Take the Abarth Weels and change Radius and the Tyre width and Friction.
Thank you again for your Feedback and the Time you spend in examine my work.
Greetings Muddie

| Hey People! While Turning Rounds with the Car i was unsatisfied with the SWheel Position in the Cockpit view. In the Real Car you look through the Wheel on the Tacho. // With the Time i see, that i had to adjust it. This is the result: The Problem is, that the CPit Wheel Position is different to the Out-Of-Cockpit Wheel Position, because the Outer Driver is not as adjustable as the CPit Driver. I think i have to live with this Issue. If someone knows a Solution, please tell me. The Texturing is more difficult as i thought. Hard to find the right light for the Detailed Shadow rendering. No i think i solve this Problem. Its only a lot of work to do. Greetings Muddie | |

| Hey Folks!
I found a video from Rossfeldrennen 2013 with som great Hillclimbers in very good quality. One of them was my BMW 700RS. So i tried a Soundmod. Here is the Result. http://www.mediafire.com/download/6vgvr4javjigcmg/BMW700RS_Sounds_by_Muddie7272.rar Included are the .car-File(renamed .aud-File), the new .aud-File and the Waves Folder. The Waves Folder "BMW700RS_SA" must be put in the Sounds/Cars Folder. Give it a try and say what you think.

| Nice sounds - a bit more like the sound of the real engine which is originated from the BMW motorbike engine. Could be a little bit louder or more aggressive in my opinion Thanks for sharing. _________________ So long.

Hey jeanno! Yes a really interesting report. When im right, they talk in this article abaut a Mini Series of 100 Cars. Never come to reality. What a shame. Thank you for the feedback to the soundmod. I made it on headphones and i thought it is to agressive. I made it smoother after the first try. I think it must be in higher frequency. It sounds to deep for 8000RPM. Will normalize the sounds for an update, this will make the sound louder and more aggressive. BTW: The Car also feels comfortable in 3dsMax: Greetings Muddie

Yes, its a hillclimber. I saw this video. Its only 144p and i thought the sound is as "lowpixeled" as the clip. But i must see, its not so bad. It includes the essential roaring of this car. Be worth to give it a try. Greetings Muddie

I think the same and i wont do anything to correct it. The Hands from the driver on the wheel is more important than the right wheel position and wait for the Sound in the Mod its getting more loud and aggressive. BTW: Happy Birthday afterwards. My Computer had a tragic meeting with some Water. Was stressed a few days. Greetings Muddie

| Hey World! Made more additional Parts for my Mod - #148 Windows - Steelrims - "Martini" Rollbar. I found this little pixelated Pic: I am uncertain about the Lettering. I think it tells "Martini" in the Pininfarina-Logo-Font. If i am wrong, please tell me. | |
