I forgot to post some news... ok, the new rear wing mesh is ingame, some details to the test skin template added.









I got one interesting information the wheel bolts of MkIVs were always red left side and blue right side. so I will change it in future

rivals...   

I was over at your site and I see we are in for some excellent mods coming to a track near you soon

well, as many of you noticed, all the 330 P4 simrace models use wheels they do not fits with the real car photo images. for the tsfs2 model I did new wheel mesh. originaly I did it in size of the blueprint drawing. but becouse the photos presents the car with much smaller wheels, I did two ingame styles.

style 1 is based on the blueprints:


style 2 is based on the real car photos:


the user can change it with the genstring simply.

same thing seems I have to do for the GT40 car too, it is the same problem.

I like the bigger wheels as they seem to fit the car better than the real ones do! Mod is looking great though!!

seems it will be hard to set the mod "default" wheel style

Outstanding work BorekS     I'd have to agree with GeeDee though, the bigger wheels just 'look' better    

For me Style2 is the better choice.  
Because they better correspond to the original.
If you can select through the Genstring, everyone has the wheels he likes.

Yes, the larger wheels fill in the wheel wells better.

Can you go to the larger wheel without protruding thru the fenders on a turn or compression of the suspension

Raise the car body by modifying the (Z axys) parameter in the GraphicalOffset line from the .HDC file:

GraphicalOffset=(0.0, -0.01, 0.0)  // does not affect physics!

and yes, juts with changing one number at .car file genstring code you can get the another wheel size

ok, gt40 mesh update:
looks same like before maybe, bit it is a new wheel mesh + new textures. again, same simple paint logic like for F1LR mod or the 330 P4.
wheel size checked with blueprint, fits well with some photos too. style 1 = goodyear  tires, style 2 = firestone  tires...

I had done some work with the files years ago in F1c related to tire size and didn't remember what all was affected

ok, here is a small progress, a very first attempt to do something with the original interiror by Marco F.
added and changed few details sofar, not any finall work. just like the Porsche 908 project, mostly a a pure repaint + few new mesh objects (steering wheel, mirror...).
the gauges are made from pictures found over the net.
