convert rfactor to gtr2 problem

Hello everyone I am new to this forum

are beginning let me ask you a question about converting a car rfactor gtr2

I tell you what I have already extracted the file mas sis and I ended up with the file gmt, dds ...

then with 3dsimed I was able to format files gtr no problem until the

Then I was able to rename multiple files of the car

hdv = hdc
case = gen
pm = sp
...

That's where my problem starts

it seems that the file is equal to the file mas gtr

but when I go to the directories gtr2 cars I see that there are several file gtr

such as

cpit.gtr
obj.gtr
tex.gtr
wheels.gtr

but they told me that for rfactor mas file contains all the files

I think these files should be essential to the operation of each vehicle

My questions are: How do I create these four files. Gtr ? (cpit.gtr, obj.gtr, tex.gtr, wheels.gtr)

because when I extracted the file mas vehicle I found myself with multiple files, such as

CAR1.DDS, CHROME.DDS, DASH_FUEL.TGA, blglo_ds.gmt

how I should combine all files in these four files. gtr?

Hi, and welcome!
I'll give you only a quick answer. The .GTR files contins all of these DDS, TGA, BMP.... and GMT files. You can Import/Export from GTR files with Geditor 0.35
It is wise to group them as follows:
GMTs and textures for Chassis into obj.gtr
GMTs and texture for Cockpit into cpit.gtr
GMTs and texture for wheels into wheels.gtr
It is wise to use tex.gtr to put inside only EXPO,LIGHTS, MASK and GENERIC textures.

These 4 .GTR files must be listed in the .CAS file of the car.
You can view other cars to see how files are organized.

ok man thank you very much but I do not know how to import all these files as there are many file such as DASH_FUEL.TGA actually I do not know or import this file for example is I have to import it into the CPIT. gtr in the tex.gtr obj.gtr or the wheels.gtr

basically I do not know what is important or not and I also do not know or import

that's why I'm really confused

Is the car your trying to convert easy to find ? I'd like to give it a try.............

the car is impossible to find this is I'm looking for 3 hours but to no avail

I haven't converted anything before, but I'm going to give this a try.......... There are a lot of nice cars on that platform, shame they don't make it to simbin.......

Ok, here's anupdate- I was looking through one of my HDD's & found
what i think is the mod you're looking for, the read-me goes like this=
BMW M6 (2008) v1.1 for GTR2

rFactor version by Alexander Balanesko
converted / overworked for GTR2 by mr.snoo

But the cars (there's only 4) have race colours??
Still you could use one as a template & paint some..
