Which Cars do you want?

Hi Rick, I'm really only interested in the Coda Corta since Hubert converted everything else already to GTL. I'll try to make due with the half-assed illegal one.

BTW in that illegal mod there's a whole mess of cars and files, including some original GTL stuff, and a few Le Mans tracks. Probably the guy never heard of GTL-GTR2.

I managed to get the Coda Corta in the game and working (GTL) but I cannot make the Escuderia Montjuich livery (yellow 512S Coda Corta Spide LM 1970 I think) work because I miss a HDC file (I have the ones for the factory BOAC500 Coda Corta Spiders and for the Nart and Picchio Rosso Coda Corta Coupes as well but miss the one for Montjuich). The WSC70 mod is somewhat like the Group C mod for the GTPs... It's anyway (The version that is out there) worthless (tried to organise stuff a little bit but for some reason it doesn't work and the cars double themselves (the livery appears twice: one of'em works and other doesn't so I cannot make a race because the files themselves only appear once...) and I so miss the 962 to make an IMSA GTP grid...). Anyway, at least I managed to make an almost full LM 70 (within the 36 car limit) grid (Including the Ligier JS2 hehe)

Well I´ve been very interested to start making mods, to create new cars. Well, I want to do, but I don´t know how... anyone knows where I can get more information to learn how to make new cars? which tools I will need, and etc.. ?

How come Merlin released a conversion for GTR2 of that mod? I thought only sunalp2 had "official" permission to convert those cars...

Merlin does not need "Permissions" he is "God"

This one is new. THe other merlin design bla bla website was not even permitting someone to register. ))

Sincerely, I don't understand what rFactor has over GTL and GTR2 that makes it have more mods... I understand its physics suit open-wheelers more, but the rest is pretty evenly matched, maybe in favour of GTL/GTR2 because of the graphics. Physics accuracy is a matter of taste as all games use the same engine.

Well mate, neither do I... Anyway, now with the launch of RF2 there will be very little new mods released for the retired Rf (which can not be said for GTL... because I don't think we'll ever see a sequel to it ).

If P&G v3 is enough successful that it promotes a massive switch, then GTL will die a slow death, but GTL-GTR2 wasn't able to kill GTL so I don't think P&G will kill GTL either.

mate. I play GTR2 and I like it to be honest. It's a good game but GTL is better. It shows more quality even if it is older. And believe me, I've converted some P&G cars to play with in GTL because GTL has the classic athmosfere of the ol' days that no mod for either GTL or Rf will ever achieve.

TBH I like GTL better due to it's interface. It's so less cramped than GTR2, and tuning is easier. I don't care much for rain. Plus, there's what you mentioned about the atmosphere. I was introduced to GTL by a classic car nut and I was quickly hooked.
