[WIP] Can-Am for GTL

Thnks to for the honest feedback I'll recheck the STP I didn't notice it.
Now for a dumb question, how do I get my work posted here? Do I submit it to some one for release like on NoGrip?

Thanks Alex12, I'v got that and yes it makes all the differance. The problem is that the Icons I made for the 917/10s dont show up even though they are named the same as the files structure. So I'm guessing it must be some sort of naming thing.

Vintage Racer - You're welcome. I'm actually interested in how to upload my work here too, I'm thinking about doing biks for all the cars which don't have and posting them here, if they let me do it. The icons will have to wait for a while, as my photoshop skills are a bit rusty, but they're a target as well.

Hi guys - to upload just use sendspace.com or similar - see my Dino link at top of this page. No registration required and it is quick, easy and free.

I think Evo is quite relaxed about what is posted as long as it is relevant to GTL, GTR2 etc.

So I just upload the files to a public server and when I have a link to them I open a new topic and post it.

This link is garbage and different crap comes up each time you open it.

I just tried the link and it worked fine.

Look In the upper right corner where it says please wait 5 seconds.
Then hit the "Skip Ad" button in the same location.
This brings up the download page, left side has the "Regular Download" button.
Oh the price we pay for free file sharing.

Hi Schroener,
I forgot, I have mine changed to use a real 917 sound pack I got somewhere.
Open the .car file with notepad and change the sounds line to match your other working 917-10s. If they're stock it will most likely look like this: Sounds=porsche_917_10_002.aud

yes that`s correct!
In the sound folder is the "Can-Am" folder that contains the 917 sounds

Are you sure you substituted the old sound instance in the .car file and you don't have both copied together?
