I need a little help for my new conversion.
I already have a lot of pics and info to make some skins, but I look for close-up pictures or at least pictures clear enough to identify logos and writings on the cars for the 71-74 Renaulf-Elf Cup, the one using the R12 Gordini.
There is a site called gorde.org that has a lot of pics and I have downloaded them all, but most have a very low resolution and are not much usable. I have contacted the guy running the site who claims to be passionate about the car but couldn't get more than vague and general answers to my questions, maybe he's not as passionate now as he was when he made the site, don't know... And it's not a question of language barrier since we both are French.
Anyway, besides pics, I need to know who drove what. I have already found some of the pilots' names for the 72 to 74 seasons, but not for 71. I am also looking for the pilots' first names, because most of what I found only tells the family name.
Here's what I've done so far with the first car :
The original skin for this mod I'm converting from RFactor is obviously based on model cars or kits and is not correct. I have searched a long time for the correct stickers on the rear wings/fenders. I have found some, but for the "SESAM LYON" and "SERI-SPORT", the smaller writing is totally invented. I just wrote some plausible stuff, but for the "SESAM LYON", their website says "since 2013", so it's certainly not the correct one. I also thought of blurring the writing so it's impossible to decipher, but it seems a bit stupid. Also, the "MGP and" sticker seems to be incorrect as well, "MGP" seems correct but the smaller "and" means nothing in French so it must have been something else. Also, behind the MGP sticker on the hood/top of the car, there's another sticker but since it's impossible to tell what it can be, I did nothing...

In fact very difficult question. Even at the french site http://forum-auto.caradisiac.com I'm unable to find anything.
BTW: dreaming for ages of the Dauphine Gordini ( http://speedster63.blogspot.com/2018/08/project-20182019-2.html ) and the Renault 17 Gordini ( https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gordini#Rachat_de_Gordini_par_Renault )

Yes, I've been to the caradisiac site and found a little, but not much, and a majority of pictures on the site are not visible because they were posted a long time ago on image sites that don't exist anymore.
I have the R12 converted by Hubert. Actually, it seems that the one I'm converting is more or less based on the same original model, but much improved. The other model I have also. Maybe I will use some skins from both but they don't seem to be very accurate.
I am also waiting for the Dauphine Gordini, that's the first car I ever drove, when I was less that four years old, on my father's lap of course, on the twisty roads above Grenoble, driving to the ski station of Chamrousse !
The R17 is in the waiting room, I have a model that needs to be converted in my archives, along with a R8G. Don't know yet which one I'll do first, maybe the 17 since it's an evolution of the 12...

@ kikoya: take a look at this, my friend. It's really amazing, but WIP since 2 years, and speedster63 is out sinc june last year. It's a real jewel, and I'd like to have it in my game. Dauphine/Gordini was one of the cars in my early youth.
