Hey Gee!

Really a great Site from the other Side of the World. (Makes me hungry to build one of the Coupes) but i dont find the "further Results" Knob. The last Pics i see shows the 600 and 700 Suspensions and i thought this are the last Pics. Please tell me if there is more. Or must you be Registered to see more?

He Guys! Its me again!

Listen to you guys i must think: Japanese is the new Black(Hehe). I found these Buttons but i thought it works like Flickr or Google-Pics with this "Show More"-Button at the Bottom, you know. Unfortunally is this Page 3 the only on which Shows sth. about the 700/700 RS/Martini BMWs

And Now for Something Completely Different:

I had a little Idea for the RPM Limit Light and i would ask: Is it Possible?

I know its not authentic. But it would be a nice Gimmick.

I'm not sure for the scale though scratch
If max power comes to 8000 rpm and redline is at 8400 then maybe the scale should be something like 7500-7750-8000-8250 rpm?

It is possible:

1st led -> material name: ledrpm1

2nd led -> material name: ledrpm2

3rd led -> material name: ledrpm3

4th led -> material name: ledrpm4

They won't be lit at the revs that you want, but they'll work.

Hey People!
News from the 700RS

Made many new Attachments (Now ther are 9 entrys in the Genstring in Use)



Its now Possible to build the two originals with nearly the right Outfit(Cockpit/Hood/Exhaust/Blink Lights...)

Here the new Cockpit in Cockpit View:



New Mirror/New Cockpit Parts/New Steering Wheel Texture

Hey Guys!

Was 10 Months away but now im back and run on full throttle.

Some News about my Project:

Size reference with the Ford Falcon:



(Its a really small Car)

My last Problem with the RPM Lights is solved and i was surprised that, the first Time ever, GTL solved it for me. In GTL there are the Materials ledrpm1 to 4. and they worked nearly as i needed.
Look:

First Material ledrpm1, then ledrpm2 and at last ledrpm4


Material ledrpm1 and ledrpm4

I worked on Adding Fuel Lights too, but it doesent work. I take the right Material and textures in bmp,tga and dds but the light stays dark all the Time. If someone knows how i get it working, please tell me.

Another Problem is the classification. On short curvy tracks the Car is faster than all of the default TC65 Cars. But with 58 to 66KW its to less powered for the GTC65 Class i think. Whats your Opinion?
I let the AI drive on several Default Tracks. Here are the Results:



And theres a weird Problem with the Onboard Camera Position. Look here:



I recapitulate:
- Fuel light doesnt work
- Classification
- Onboard Camera Position

If for "fuel light" you mean the led which starts bleeping when you're running low on fuel, the material name should be "ledlf".

If that's set and it still doesn't work, check that the event is set to 0,1, that _00.tga texture is black (?)/transparent and _01.tga is the "glow" effect.

If you're going for historical accuracy and it's still too fast/slow, then it's up to you. Make it different, but unrealistic or keep it real, but faster/slower? I'd go with realistic myself.

For the camera, it's somewhere in the .cam file, swingcam, tvcam, or something like that.

Will you make a version with the roof to replicate that Nurburgring '64 car?

If the tyres have too much grip you will gain a lot of time on every corner including any braking or accelerating.
