Hey folks,

here's a weird one for you. 99.9% of the time when using the Time Trial mode in GTR2 the ghost file is as a ghost is supposed to be and you can pass right through it without any semblance of physical contact doing so. Today and a couple of other times through the years as well, I was dialing in the Can-Am 917/30 (yes still very much alive and moving forward too btw) at 70 Ratlanta and I was racing against a ghost from a prior TT lap there. Upon hitting the starting line, I was suddenly thrown sideways as if t-boned or such! affraid What it turned out had happened was that I was in the exact same spot as where the ghost first appears. Of course the ghost car cannot be affected as it's not variable being essentially a movie of sorts. Once I clued in to what was occurring I decided to move over and then follow the ghost car and when we got to the long straight, drafted it too!! I know I was drafting as I was 5 or 6 mph faster at the end of the straight than I had ever been before. I have googled the crap out of this but found nothing but a reference to a Race to Play site that mentioned a box for enabling contact with the other cars on track. Not what I was looking for. I thought I had seen in the past an option within the plr file that was for enabling contact with the ghost car but for the life of me, could not find such a line. Mad I'm now stumped. Neutral Was this GTR2 just being a sfg! Suspect or is there something somewhere within the files that controls this? scratch Actually I'm hoping there is as I've always thought it had great potential for drafting to faster and faster speeds with these cars hehe bounce bounce bounce It'd be crazy to have that going on the Talladega Oval or Le Sarthe lol!

Any ideas please...I mean related to this issue only Gordon, not in general Razz

Perhaps it was a Spectre CanAm that was the ghost car??

Just as it appeared the time mentioned here, it was back to normal again upon any of the following times I tried Time Trial. Weird sfg Rolling Eyes
