well, closest to the stage "finished" are the Porsche Longtails only. the Ford Mark IV and mainly the Ferrari P4 needs a lot of work to be at similar stage. however, the Porsches are not done yet at all, which means at christmas 2014 you cant await any gift from our kitchen, I am affraid. I am talking here about the car visuals...

I am not sure even, if to release at 2015 the Longtails as standalone add-on first and the Ferrari with Ford (much) later, or if to release it all together as our LeMans Classics mod.

I would prefer the Release with all Cars of the Mod, take all the time you need Boreks, you`re really doing great stuff and of course everyone who is involved in this Mod, thanks a lot for it!

the (re)work on the P4 continues.

cca 40% of original mesh removed, some things has been simplified, and some things will be added yet.

I think the main thing is our cars are scratch made free models and not any commercial game rip conversions

Just a gee whiz question. Why did you decide to go with tires that appear to all be the same size? From pictures I've seen, most 330P4s and 412s have larger tires in the rear and it gives the cars a more hulking, muscular appearance. Maybe your's is that way and the pic doesn't show it. Just wondered. I have noticed that earlier P3s and P2s even were more saggy in the butt.

well, the car wheel size didnt changed, its the same one like at the picture from Nov 14  2014. for this size is adapted the final P4 physics...

I am not sure if here or at the F1C site, but the wheel size case was mentioned somewhere  already.

ok, all inner hardly visible car parts removed and all holes closed (I hope)...

well, the car will look bit different ingame because of shader and light settings :/ the "White 25" images looks like from Assetto Corsa game rather, I would say

ok, now I have to re-uvmap the whole car and rework the virtual cockpit. sofar you didnt seen any P4 interior ingame screenshot from our kitchen, btw.
when / if this will be done, the texture and skin work will start...

as you know, our mod got a Le Mans Classics name and should content Ford GT40 Mk IV, Ferrari 330 P4, Porsche 907LH, Porsche 908 LH and Porsche 917LH 1967-1969 series, so I will merge our old Porsche 908 LH thread with this thread, to do not double new posts. all new mod progress and related info you should see here only...

lets start:
the new driver heads from upcoming rF Cooper T73 mod mod seems fits well with our LMC cars...

the goal was to present the 907, 908 and 917 langheck cars together, but because of a wrong render scene settings I got a scale model image infact... well, I believe some of you could find it nice

ok, some new P4 progress:
as you maybe know, the original Ferrari 330 P4 car source made by the french guy called tsf2 was external model only. but, as you maybe remember too, I got the car stuff from a guy called dbstreet, which did for the car the virtual cockpit mesh, from scratch.

I got allowement to rework/to use it as I wish... well, so here is a very first image of our P4 interior.




its a mix-up of original instrument mesh + new steering wheel, mirror, main body, windows and so on... the cockpit still is wip but the base shape is done, I suppose.
