Don't want to hijack this thread but it would be neat to have the full complement of under 2 liter cars. JD has done a great job so far on the Transams that are over 2 liter.

Great video of Riverside and other long gone tracks, spent a lot of time there when we moved here back in the 60's, first track I started racing on way back in the 70's. Know what is on that historic property now ? A fuggin' shopping mall that is going bankrupt. We used to give all the big cars fits up on Mulholland with a lightly modified 510, fantastic little cars.........Keep up the fine work.......nighty night........

Unfortunately most of the sites containing F1C mods are down.

Have to check my external HD over the weekend for the mod.
I think I downloaded it years ago.

I have the mod for Nascar Heat... but no other game.

I have the Datsun for F1C....installed and working.

Now, for those that have grown impatient..... This mod is one I am working on WITH the person that started the thread.

Those that know me, know that I do textures.... Paints, and such, I do not do models. I have not learned that yet.

BUT, Splintert started this topic, and I have been trying to keep you all updated on MY END of it. Now, Splintert has been away... that is life. I am not going to release this without his permission.

The mod is NOT done. It is working, but not well enough to be released. Sorry if you don't understand that.

Some seem to think that I am posting pictures to brag that I have it...

NOT so.

In between the MANY projects I am working on, with others, I have taken the time to post what progress I have made on textures for this car.

Please, if you want to know when, or if this will be released.... STOP asking me....I am not the creator.

I am not mad, or upset... I am only doing the textures. I want it out, just as badly as you do, trust me.....

Would it be best if I stop posting?

I can look through my many CD Roms for mods. I have the links to the Nascar HEAT version of the Trans Am Mod. But I don't believe it can be successfully ported to our games.

I know that Jeff and always give credit where it's due.

Splintert92 has done some great models and I'm bloody happy he does what he does.

I'm also grateful for your enthusiasam and commitment to skinning what seems like an endless number of paints on an endless number of different models.

I hope you take this as a compliment because that's how I mean it---I think you"re right up there with ThunderIce when it comes to skinning--or at least I'm as excited to see your work as his work-----and that's saying something.

But without a good modeler and physics guy---we're kind of SOL----lol

HTC containing Hillman Imp, Volvo Amazon, Ford Anglia and Alfa Romeo Gulia and so on,

HTCC contains - among others - the Saab 96.

Could be possible that the HTCC is a further development of the HTC, because some of the cars are the same.

Don't know where I downloaded these mod years ago and never really played F1C.
Blackhole Motorsports seems to be down and I cannot find other places to download these mod on the net.

So - if anybody is interested I'm prepared to upload both at mediafire soon.

Alright jeannomiller----thanks for digging----I put a call out to my friend but so far no joy.

It will be interesting to see the quality and whether it's worth converting. Luckily I still have the F1C disc.

Please, upload these files. I know someone who will kill for a half decent Anglia model for a rfactor project. Never mind the fact the project at nogrip has stalled 2 years ago.

The Miura and the 510 are the only 2 I am currently working on. However, life threw me another curveball and every thing is on hold atm.

Thats the trouble with life splintert, there's allways something to give you a good kicking just as you're getting up- i've had more curveballs than curveballsRus.com
